World crude steel production -3.4% on February 2024, -0.3% on first two months of 2024

Worldsteel published February world crude steel production today. World crude steel output was 144.7 million metric tonnes, 3.4% lower than in February, 2024. China produced 78.9 million tonnes in February, accounting for 55% of world output and declining 3.3% compared to February, 2024.
