Worldsteel makes upward revision to 2013 & 2014 apparent steel use

In its latest Short Range Outlook, published October 7th, Worldsteel revised its world apparent steel use for 2013 and 2014 upward. US long products imports rise 12% in August

Based on reported import licenses, US long products imports rose 12% from 213,000 short tons in July to 238,000 tons in August.
