IISI Iron and Crude Steel Production 2007

You may be interested to know that you can find preliminary IISI iron and crude steel production statistics for 2007 by country on the Japan Iron and Steel Federation Website. These statistics aren’t available on the IISI website and aren’t usually published in the IISI Steel Statistical Yearbook until July.

December US long products imports reach record low

For those of you who are following US long products imports, December actual import figures have now been published, and are almost 30,000 short tons less than November imports, confirming low import licenses collected for the month.
